01. Challenge

The check-in process was fragmented, requiring users to navigate multiple steps manually. Additionally, there was no way to estimate luggage weight before arriving at the airport, leading to unexpected fees and friction. The tab bar also lacked interactivity, missing an opportunity to improve navigation.

02. Solution

Direct Check-in Access and luggage: Users can now start check-in with his luggage directly from the "My Trips" section with a clear CTA.

AI-Powered Luggage Weight Estimation: Users can scan their luggage with their phone camera for an approximate weight, preventing surprises at the airport.

Streamlined Boarding Pass Experience: The boarding pass screen provides clear next steps and allows users to self-check their luggage seamlessly.

04. Micro interaction

Micro-interactions in the tab bar create a more engaging and responsive experience, guiding users smoothly through key actions

05. Key outcomes

I redesigned the Qatar Airways app to make post-booking tasks faster and more user-friendly. The My Trips section now features clear, interactive CTAs, while a simplified tab bar helps users navigate with ease. I introduced a step-by-step vertical flow to make the check-in process smoother, and added seamless luggage tracking right after check-in for better peace of mind.

While this is a personal project, I estimated the potential impact based on UX best practices and industry benchmarks
